From October 8, 2012 through October 12, 2012 I attended the Polar Bear International Leadership Camp in Churchill, Canada. I learned about the polar bears and how global warming is changing the habitat of these beautiful creatures.  I worked closely with zookeepers and other educators during the week to make a conservation plan to bring back to my community.  Students, educators, and the community need to understand that we need to reduce carbon emissions, thus reducing global warming, to save the beautiful polar bears.
